Unified tourist offer of the municipalities of Plužine and Foča through tourist packages
The municipalities of Plužine and Foča, in cooperation with the Nature Park “Piva” and the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Foča, have developed one-day and multi-day tourist packages that integrate the tourist offer in two municipalities. Tourist packages include 8 tours, 5 one-day and 3 multi-day, where the most popular tourist attractions of both municipalities are integrated. The tours integrated the most attractive tourist products and attractions, such as rafting, hiking, zip line, jeep safari, cruising and new tourist products – free climbing, kayaking and bird and wildlife watching. The most popular localities, viewpoints and resting places have been selected along with tourist attractions, so that tourists visiting the cross-border area can fully experience both municipalities. In addition to active tourism, tourist packages also include the cultural and historical values. The natural values of the two National Parks – Sutjeska and Durmitor, as well as the Nature Park “Piva”, which is also their natural connection, are also integrated.
Tourist packages that include one-day and multi-day tours is one of the activities of the project “Tourism, Adrenaline and Rafting Adventure (T.A.R.A)” implemented by the Municipalities of Plužine and Foča, in cooperation with Piva Nature Park and the Tourist Organization of Foča, and funded by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Program for Cross-Border Cooperation BiH-MNE.
